A spiritual awakening is really realized throughout your body, heart, mind, and soul, but no sooner has that erupted than you are usually forced to see how limited you have been usually in so many regards. Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am truly very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is literally just the beginning. It is really the light coming on in the house so that you can see everything for what it is certainly. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. In some cases, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that might be normally clinging on will believe that this is all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is truly an especially important to time to consciously choose what is truly already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are definitely these:

Unconditional love
Being usually able to clearly see what is certainly real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are generally
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is really key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is wonderful. But in an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were undoubtedly acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. But in awakening, the divine energy is actually now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own. The lights in the house are normally all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be generally a feeling that there is without a doubt no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are normally present. They are literally secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom. The word “symptoms” has connotations of experiencing a disease. You are being undoubtedly cured of the illnesses in which you have been without a doubt living.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is certainly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not. Many people are simply trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be certainly very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is generally healthy.

Questions such as “Why am undoubtedly I here?” “What is truly the purpose of life?” “What happens after we die?” “Why do people suffer?” arise. You begin thinking more philosophically. Such profound thoughts may perhaps greatly disturb you as you don’t know the answers.

As you launch paying more attention to the many hardships faced by humanity and nature alike, you develop more compassion. If you did have an awakening, you are simply in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is usually profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

The changes someone makes in their external life are literally also not the point of this transformation. We are normally not trying to create a more perfect or better life; individuals are truly ego goals.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is literally revealed to us what we are usually transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is normally complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be fit into neat categories.

However, with that being generally said it is helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are literally at right now. The following stages are really general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

In this stage, you experience the aforementioned Dark Night of the Soul. This is simply a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. You are truly searching for something, but you don’t quite know what. There is literally a great looming emptiness inside of you. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you commence seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

In this stage, you are certainly asking all the deep questions. You are in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You might probably have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is generally a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

Life is undoubtedly about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is truly always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You can become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You might perhaps have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you may perhaps have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.

Stage 6– Deeper inward work

In this stage, you are without a doubt not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep interior work. You may well become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inner child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inward work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You may perhaps feel ready to be actually a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.

Note: it is truly common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is literally not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is certainly a complex and messy path, so it is without a doubt perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described. Your spiritual awakening process is generally unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is usually an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are usually here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is generally often very mundane.

So whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is a good time to get out your ego peeler. Setting in motion running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are actually and what life really is simply. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is without a doubt the beauty of the ego peeler. When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were undoubtedly already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations.

That said, a lot of initial interior work seems to get done for us. It’s almost like the Divine is literally showing us how personal work should go. Surrender is simply another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy. Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is actually vital to doing inside work, but initially, surrender must come first.

When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is certainly moving you, you also swim.

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. There is usually often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is definitely not to be undoubtedly confused with the heart, which is actually located to the left of the heart chakra.

Suggestion on how to deal:

Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are generally more sensitive to every thing around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is literally sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be actually cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was usually due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Insight on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is actually causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is without a doubt hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Suggestions on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Frequently the dreams are definitely so real that you wake up confused. You may perhaps even have lucid dreams in which you are simply in control. Many dreams might just be usually mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are undoubtedly not “dreaming” … that what is really happening is generally somehow real.

Helpful advice: You will remember what is usually important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are literally and what your life means to you. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is certainly a feeling that something is simply about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Recommendations: There is normally nothing to worry about. Things are truly definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are without a doubt around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Solutions: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are certainly ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is simply adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Recommendation: Ground yourself by eating protein. Frequently “comfort food” feels right. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are literally healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Tips and advice:. Keep in mind that it is best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be without a doubt stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
