Spiritual Awakening Signs
I am really very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is without a doubt just the beginning. It is simply the light coming on in the house so that you can see everything for what it is really. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. Frequently, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that might be usually clinging on will believe that this is all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is without a doubt an especially important to time to consciously choose what is without a doubt already unfolding in your life.
In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are truly these:
Being undoubtedly able to clearly see what is generally real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are actually
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually
Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is certainly wonderful. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is now in motion.
All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are generally present. They are actually secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom. The word “symptoms” has connotations of experiencing a disease. You are certainly being truly cured of the illnesses in which you have been normally living.
Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is normally all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not. Many people are actually trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be certainly very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is undoubtedly healthy.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages
The spiritual awakening process is complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be without a doubt fit into neat categories.
With that being actually said it is truly helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are without a doubt at right now. The following stages are general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:
Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost
This is truly a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).
Stage 2– Shifting perspectives
In this stage, you start off seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.
Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning
There must be definitely a point to all this, right? In this stage, you are certainly asking all the deep questions. You are literally in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will initiate dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.
Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs
After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may likely have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is actually a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.
Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again
With the spiritual awakening process, there is really always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You can become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.
Stage 6– Deeper inner work
In this stage, you are undoubtedly not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep personal work. You might just become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, internal child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.
Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy
Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your personal work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You might perhaps feel ready to be really a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.
Note: it is common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is simply not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is without a doubt a complex and messy path, so it is undoubtedly perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described. Your spiritual awakening process is generally unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’
What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake
The true spiritual path is certainly an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are normally here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is without a doubt often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated. It is normally simple, direct, and clear.
Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is certainly a good time to get out your ego peeler. Commencing running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are truly and what life really is generally. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is truly the beauty of the ego peeler. When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were literally already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening
Awakening can believe that a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. It is actually important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is usually coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.
It is usually almost like the Divine is truly showing us how internal work should go. Surrender is truly another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.
When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is undoubtedly moving you, you also swim.
10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
1. Sudden waves of emotion.
Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. There is without a doubt often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is really not to be without a doubt confused with the heart, which is definitely located to the left of the heart chakra.
Consultation on how to deal:
Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.
2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.
As you grow more spiritual, you are truly more sensitive to everything around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.
My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was actually due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.
Help on how to deal:
Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is really causing your issues.
3. Amplification of the senses.
Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is literally hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).
Recommendation on how to deal:.
Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.
4. Vivid dreams.
Many dreams might just be without a doubt mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are truly not “dreaming” … that what is truly happening is undoubtedly somehow real.
Insight: You will remember what is without a doubt important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.
5. Events that completely alter your life:
Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … frequently several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are usually and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.
6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.
This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.
7. A sense of something “Impending”.
There is really a feeling that something is without a doubt about to happen. This can create anxiety.
Guide: There is literally nothing to worry about. Things are literally definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are undoubtedly prayers. There is undoubtedly nothing to fear.
8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.
When you are normally around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.
Strategies: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.
This occurs when you are generally ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is undoubtedly adjusting to your “lighter” state.
Hints and tips: Ground yourself by eating protein. Sometimes “comfort food” feels right. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.
10. Memories Resurface.
Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are certainly healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.
Helpful advice:. Keep in mind that it is certainly best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be usually stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
