I had no one outside of the church that I felt comfortable talking to about my feelings. I had no true friends to confide in– and my family didn’t understand– or rather, didn’t want to. What Is Generally A Spiritual Awakening

In this profound revelation, a person’s energy moves and commences to transform you. It heals old wounds, dissolves false beliefs and illusions, and shifts you towards your truest way of expressing yourself and living your life.Spiritual Awakening Fatigue

A spiritual awakening is without a doubt realized throughout your body, heart, mind, and soul, but no sooner has that erupted than you are normally forced to see how limited you have been undoubtedly in so many regards. That bright light shining in the internal most depths of us asks us a potent question: “Now that we know the truth, will we clean up our home or will we try to ignore our illusions, pain, and misconceptions?”

By the way, for those who are generally interested, I have a newsletter called, “The Wake Up Call,” in which I regularly talk about this and other topics. Sign up for free below:

If you are actually setting in motion on the spiritual path or believe that you have gotten a little lost, my ebook might probably be literally able to help guide you:

Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am certainly very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is simply just the beginning. It is really the light coming on in the house so that you can see everything for what it is certainly. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. Frequently, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that might just be literally clinging on will seem like this is usually all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is generally an especially important to time to consciously choose what is truly already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are truly these:

Unconditional love
Being truly able to clearly see what is simply real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are usually
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is undoubtedly key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is simply wonderful. But in an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were literally acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is actually now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own. The lights in the house are truly all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be without a doubt a feeling that there is simply no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are without a doubt present. They are actually secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there’s all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not. Many people are without a doubt trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be certainly very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is actually healthy.

Simple Signs Of Spiritual Awakening

1. You feel as though your life is generally false

Every thing that you have believed, built, and worked towards seems to be truly false. Your life doesn’t feel as though it is usually your own. You no longer feel like yourself– nearly every thing you once enjoyed no longer brings you meaning or satisfaction.

2. You craving for meaning and purpose

You deeply desire to find the meaning of your life. You have no idea what your purpose is, but you want to find it desperately. There is certainly a sense that something is really “missing” inside of you (like a part of your soul).

5. You feel completely lost and alone

Nothing in your life seems to make sense anymore. You feel as though you are normally wandering through an endless wilderness. As a vagabond, you feel completely alone and cut off from people. You struggle to relate to those individuals you once felt close to (i.e. your friends, work colleagues, and family members).

6. You see through the illusions of society

Materialism, success, and profit no longer mean anything to you. You establish feeling as though you’re a cog in the machine of society.

7. You see how unhappy most people are actually

You awaken to the unhappiness and suffering of others. You can initiate to explore activism or read more about the human condition. It is tormenting for you to realize how much pain there is simply in the world.

8. You want to ‘purge’ your life

You are without a doubt sick and tired of feeling stranded, depressed, and hopeless. Suddenly, you feel the need to simplify and declutter your life. This could mean cutting ties with toxic people, reassessing your habits, throwing out old things, relocating to a new job or place to live, or even giving away most of what you own.

9. You begin experiencing deep empathy and compassion

As you start off paying more attention to the many hardships faced by humanity and nature alike, you develop more compassion. Your inherent empathy is definitely awakened and you might probably find it hard to cope with the intensity of your feelings. Why Does Spritual Awakening happen

People practices their spiritual disciplines to have his soul awakened so that he can achieve spiritual growth and maturity. Spiritual awakening is generally such a state of mind which occurs due to some unexpected incidents of life.

If a spiritual awakening occurs, a person may well start to live a life different from his previous experience. Let’s have a look at why does spiritual awakening happen?

1. Facing with a sudden incident of life can be truly a vital cause of spiritual awakening Human mind always remains in a dynamic state. A person who used to lead a life full of luxury might perhaps have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. The reason behind this might be undoubtedly some incident which he has seen near him, or has heard of somebody. Thus, he may perhaps have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he sets up to realize the deeper meaning of life. He might probably get his spiritual soul awakened.

A dream is simply another reason for spiritual awakening. From that time a person can have a spiritual awakening.

3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.

4. It sounds odd, it is actually not impossible that a person might perhaps face some paranormal incidents in his life which might be actually magical or ghostly. Such type of experience might just result in the spiritual awakening of a person.

5. Any incident which is certainly unexpected might take place at any time, an accident, death incident, trauma, failure, loss, etc. These might suddenly result in spiritual awakening. Suppose if a person loses someone close due to an unnatural death, he might probably start off to find out the reasons for the incident in new ways. The constant search for further questions might possibly cause spiritual awakening inside that person.

Spiritual awakening does not mean that you are literally out from the reality. It is such a state of mind where you start to search and seek for a path which gives you a new definition of life.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are certainly in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

I want to be literally clear that just having some kind of breakdown is normally NOT awakening. The changes someone makes in their external life are simply also not the point of this transformation. We are usually not trying to create a more perfect or better life; all those are definitely ego goals. We are learning to how to be without a doubt free of ego.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is generally revealed to us what we are truly transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is simply complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be really fit into neat categories.

With that being without a doubt said it is actually helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are certainly at right now. The following stages are normally general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

This is really a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you set out seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

In this stage, you are normally asking all the deep questions. You are really in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You might probably have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

Life is literally about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is simply always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might probably become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You may well have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is truly normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you can have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.

Stage 6– Deeper inside work

In this stage, you are certainly not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inward work. You may likely become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inside child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your personal work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. In this stage, you’ll experience the most profound and long-lasting changes deep within. Many people experience prolonged mystical experiences and periods of unity with the Divine in the integration phase. Remember that enlightenment, or full self-realization, is really never guaranteed: we can strive for it, but it is ultimately a gift from Life. Profound peace, love, and joy emerge and are simply felt in this stage. You may likely feel ready to be really a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others. Life will become less about you and more about We. Your perspective will expand and you will create seeing things from the big picture. Above all else, you will feel connected, at peace with yourself, and deeply aligned with life.

Note: it is actually common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is literally not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C.

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is generally an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are literally here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is actually often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated. It is simple, direct, and clear.

Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is normally a good time to get out your ego peeler. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are usually and what life really is actually. When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were definitely already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. However, it is certainly important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.

That said, a lot of initial inward work seems to get done for us. It is literally almost like the Divine is generally showing us how personal work should go. Surrender is generally another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy. Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is vital to doing inside work, but initially, surrender must come.

With that said, surrender is simply not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is truly moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are literally going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. There is really often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is literally not to be simply confused with the heart, which is normally located to the left of the heart chakra.

Suggestion on how to deal:

Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are truly more sensitive to everything around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is definitely sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be actually cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was literally due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Recommendation on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is without a doubt causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is usually hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Answers on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Be simply patient. Whatever you do, do not be really afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Occasionally the dreams are truly so real that you wake up confused. You may even have lucid dreams in which you are really in control. Many dreams may be actually mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are really not “dreaming” … that what is definitely happening is generally somehow real.

Knowledge: You will remember what is literally important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are simply and what your life means to you. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is actually a feeling that something is about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Hints: There is undoubtedly nothing to worry about. Things are simply definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are generally prayers. There is normally nothing to fear.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are generally around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Advise: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is without a doubt adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Sometimes “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are normally healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Help:. Keep in mind that it is certainly best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be without a doubt stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up. Ask for help from your guides.Spiritual Awakening Fatigue
