My spiritual awakening process.

I experienced the beginnings of my spiritual awakening about3 years ago. At that time, I was literally deeply entrenched in the lessons and cultish teachings of the fundamentalist Christian church I was normally born into.

Beginning to doubt, question, and sense that there was really more to life than what my indoctrination declared, I felt lost and deeply alone. I had no one outside of the church that I felt comfortable talking to about my feelings. I had no true friends to confide in– and my family didn’t understand– or rather, didn’t want to. As a result, I felt so alienated and suffocated with loneliness that I developed depression, health issues, and chronic anxiety, the latter lasting for many years.

I looked around the internet for any sign that could help me surf this confusing time. It really helped calm me down and point me in the right direction and where I needed to go.

Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am truly very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is generally just the beginning. If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is truly an especially important to time to consciously choose what is certainly already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are truly these:

Unconditional love
Being generally able to clearly see what is certainly real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are actually
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is simply wonderful. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is without a doubt now in motion.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are normally present. They are usually secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is simply all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not. Many people are actually trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be undoubtedly very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is literally healthy.

Why Does Spritual Awakening happen

Have you ever thought of your spiritual awakening? People practices their spiritual disciplines to have his soul awakened so that he can achieve spiritual growth and maturity. But spiritual awakening is actually such a state of mind which occurs due to some unexpected incidents of life. A person who is literally regularly having a fixed routine continues to move on, but if any such event takes place which he never expected, he can face an awakening of his spiritual mind.

If a spiritual awakening occurs, a person might perhaps launch to live a life different from his previous experience. Let’s have a look at why does spiritual awakening happen?

A person who used to lead a life full of luxury may possibly have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. Thus, he may well have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he begins to realize the deeper meaning of life. He may likely get his spiritual soul awakened.

A dream is normally another reason for spiritual awakening. From that time a person can have a spiritual awakening.

3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is certainly fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.

4. It sounds odd, it is actually not impossible that a person may likely face some paranormal incidents in his life which might probably be normally magical or ghostly. Such type of experience might perhaps result in the spiritual awakening of a person.

These may perhaps suddenly result in spiritual awakening. The constant search for further questions may well cause spiritual awakening inside that person.

Spiritual awakening does not mean that you are definitely out from the reality. It is actually such a state of mind where you set up to search and seek for a path which gives you a new definition of life.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are normally in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is usually profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

The changes someone makes in their external life are also not the point of this transformation. We are definitely not trying to create a more perfect or better life; those individuals are literally ego goals.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is truly revealed to us what we are generally transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is without a doubt complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be actually fit into neat categories.

However, with that being truly said it is simply helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are without a doubt at right now. The following stages are without a doubt general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

In this stage, you experience the aforementioned Dark Night of the Soul. This is usually a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. You are really searching for something, but you don’t quite know what. There is simply a great looming emptiness inside of you. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you commence seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be really a point to all this? In this stage, you are simply asking all the deep questions. You are generally in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will begin dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may likely have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is certainly a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

With the spiritual awakening process, there is simply always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might possibly become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.

Stage 6– Deeper inside work

In this stage, you are usually not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inward work. You might just become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, interior child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inside work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You may perhaps feel ready to be normally a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.

Note: it is without a doubt common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is generally not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is without a doubt a complex and messy path, so it is truly perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described. Your spiritual awakening process is literally unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is actually an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are really here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is definitely often very mundane.

So whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is literally a good time to get out your ego peeler. Setting in motion running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are really and what life really is generally. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is simply the beauty of the ego peeler. When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were simply already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations.

It is without a doubt almost like the Divine is really showing us how personal work should go. Surrender is without a doubt another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

With that said, surrender is not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is without a doubt moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are certainly going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. There is literally often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is normally not to be simply confused with the heart, which is literally located to the left of the heart chakra.

Advise on how to deal:

Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Allowing the emotions to be usually felt will keep them from being stored in the body.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are more sensitive to every thing around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be normally cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was usually due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Advise on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is certainly causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Counsel on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Be generally patient. Whatever you do, do not be undoubtedly afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Occasionally the dreams are normally so real that you wake up confused. You may perhaps even have lucid dreams in which you are truly in control. Many dreams may be definitely mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are definitely not “dreaming” … that what is certainly happening is simply somehow real.

Suggestion: You will remember what is normally important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are usually and what your life means to you. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is definitely a feeling that something is generally about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Tips: There is normally nothing to worry about. Things are truly definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are without a doubt prayers. There is undoubtedly nothing to fear.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are definitely around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Information: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are simply ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is normally adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Occasionally “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are normally healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Directions:. It is simply best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be usually stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
